Dry skin, acne:

Hello, I am 17 years old and I would like to ask how I should take care of my skin. It is dry, feels tight and I have small pimples. I also suffer from a mild form of acne, which I try to treat with lotions containing alcohol. Thank you for your reply.

Hello, in your case it is probably a case of overdrying of the skin as part of the acne treatment. We recommend that you consult your dermatologist first. Skin with acne needs to be properly moisturised and sebum production needs to be regulated. We recommend THERMELOVE sulphur soap for washing the skin. To moisturise the skin, try a sulphur acne gel. We have a choice of sulphur products for oilier skin, as well as gentler sulphur-free products for everyday use. For sulphur-free products, try the THERMELOVE regenerating cream. Its gentle consistency allows for comfortable spreading and absorption, the cream softens and softens the skin, promotes hydration and skin regeneration.

Oily skin, acne:

Hello, I have oily, darker, problematic and acne-prone skin. I now use a normal cream for normal to dry skin and cover make-up. It covers well, but I get some "flakes" during the day. Please advise, is it the cream, the makeup or the short time between applying the cream and makeup?

Hello, sensitive and problematic skin usually requires special cosmetics. Many women with sensitive skin can't get enough of classic creams, but in your case you would need to stabilize your skin and not use dry skin creams. Our THERMELOVE sulphur thermal water cream helps eliminate skin problems, including helping to clear blackheads and clogged pores thanks to sulfur. The ingredients also penetrate deeper skin layers, regenerating the skin and helping to keep it balanced. To moisturise, it is also advisable to use THERMELOVE thermal sulphur water spray.

Seborrheic dermatitis:

Hello, what products would you recommend for seborrheic dermatitis for men 40 years old. Thank you

To wash problematic skin, you can use THERMELOVE sulphur soap or THERMELOVE sulphur shampoo, which can also be used as a body shower product. For subsequent moisturisation, we recommend the THERMELOVETHERMELOVE body lotion with panthenol and sulphur. This will treat inflamed areas, soothe and moisturise the skin at the same time. It should be emphasised that seborrhoeic dermatitis is a chronic disease caused by a genetic disposition and the disease is often recurrent. By using our products you can achieve a significant improvement in symptoms, but unfortunately you cannot expect a complete cure. As with atopic dermatitis, we also recommend bathing in sulphur water, e.g. in the thermal baths of Velké Losiny or Ostrožská Nová Ves.

Are sulphur products also suitable for seborrhoea?

Seborrhoea or seborrhoeic dermatitis is a chronic recurrent disease occurring mainly on the face, hair and torso as yellow-pink deposits covered with yellowish oily scales. External treatment depends on the extent and severity of the involvement. In the acute phase, when the local findings worsen, treatment consists of the application of moderately effective to weak corticosteroids, combined with antibacterial agents as needed. Sulphur products are suitable as adjunctive care. The use of sulphur products for washing and subsequent moisturising with sulphur lotion or sulphur cream is also appropriate as a preventive measure.

Atopic eczema:

Hello, I have suffered from atopic eczema since childhood. I am now 27 years old and still suffer from it. I know that it is a disease that cannot be cured completely. Do any of your products at least help to alleviate the symptoms? Thank you.

Hello, the first step should be a consultation with your dermatologist. The skin of atopic patients is often very sensitive and reactive to any stimulus, so any new product should first be tested on a small patch of skin. A proven help in this case is bathing in sulphur water, e.g. in the Velké Losiny spa, and subsequent skin care with THERMELOVE products. The sulphur thermal water and added sulphur in the cosmetics disinfect the eczema deposits and the unique blends of herbs and other active ingredients help to soothe the skin. We recommend THERMELOVE sulphur soap to cleanse the skin. It is also advisable to moisturise the skin frequently, several times a day. Try our body lotions, which are easy to spread and, thanks to panthenol, soothe and regenerate the skin.

Psoriasis:

Hello, please advise. I have been struggling with psoriasis for several years. I have tried everything I can, dietary changes, medical treatments, etc. I would like to ask which of your products you would recommend for my skin care. My psoriasis is mostly in my hair, neck and elbows. Thank you

Hello, thank you for your trust in our products. In the case of psoriasis, it is easy to use our sulphur products and, as with other skin diseases, regular baths in the sulphur thermal baths in the Velké Losiny spa can be helpful. For the scalp, shoulders and neck, the THERMELOVE sulphur shampoo containing thermal water from the above-mentioned baths is an ideal help. The shampoo can also be used to wash the skin of the whole body. The sulphur acts on the psoriasis deposits and disinfects them. At the same time, the natural oils contained moisturize the skin so that it is not too dry. It is advisable to spray the skin with THERMELOVE sulphur thermal water several times a day. You can also try bathing in salt from the dead sea or iodine-bromine salt.

Rosacea
I have a rosacea. Can sulphur cosmetics help me?

Rosacea is a skin disease affecting mainly the nose, cheeks, forehead and chin. At the beginning there is a temporary redness of the skin, later it is permanent and dilated veins appear - the vascular form. Rosacea can also affect the eyes or eyelids - the ocular form. These forms may occur separately or simultaneously, but one may also pass into the other. Aggravating factors are a number of external influences, especially those that increase facial congestion. These include hot drinks, hot and spicy foods, alcohol, temperature changes and also sunlight. An essential part of skin care is the long-term elimination or at least minimisation of all possible provoking factors and the use of appropriate dermocosmetics. In rosacea, sulphur preparations are known to have a good effect due to their antifungal, keratolytic and inhibitory effects on Demodex folliculum (a mite parasitic on humans), which contributes in no small part to the development and aggravation of rosacea. Here it is advisable to wash the skin with sulphur soap.

Foot problems:

How to get rid of foot fungus?

Fungal infection of the feet most often occurs on the skin between the toes. It can manifest as reddening of the skin with peeling of the skin, and sometimes it can even itch. It often occurs in athletes and the risk group includes those who use public areas such as swimming pools, communal showers and changing rooms where it is damp, warm and people walk barefoot. The risk of infection is increased by damaged skin such as various cuts, abrasions or other minor injuries that can become a gateway for fungal infections. Prevention is particularly important to prevent the occurrence. Use your own open-toed shoes in common areas, especially by the pool or sauna. Wear airy cotton socks. It is also advisable to use sulphur soap, which contains 6% sulphur. This has a strong antibacterial effect and also works against yeast, so the soap is also suitable as a preventive measure for washing several times a week. If you experience difficulties, it is possible to moisturise the skin with a foot cream with sulphur after washing. See your dermatologist if the problem persists.
